30 Days of Positive

It is my goal to write a post each day about positive things that happen by starting with a quote or comment!

Life can be full of so many NON-positive things and sometimes it’s hard to “count your blessings,” as it were. Instead of thinking, “I only ran two miles this morning (read: should have run 3!).” Think positively and say: “I ran 2 MILES this morning! Wow, last year this time, I couldn’t run for 2 minutes, let alone 2 miles. I’ve improved!”

It’s all in your perspective.

I intend to change mine, hopefully yours, too. At least maybe make you laugh along the way. Stay tuned.

Where am I now?

At the end of July, I took a leap of faith (and pulled some savings!) to attend a training class in Atlanta. The training would allow me to become a certified MBTI facilitator, meaning that I could administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment to individuals and groups. After a week of meeting some extraordinary people and learning more about the psychology of personality than I learned in 4 years as an undergrad, I now have an MBTI certification. CPP, the company who handled the training, was exceptional and has been a constant partner in my site setup.

I look forward to gaining experience with the powerful new tool!
